Grant Assistance for Downtown Village Properties

The Village of Corinth has recently been awarded two grants to promote the revitalization of its downtown.  With the grants and funding from the Village, approximately $750,000 of renovation assistance will be available on or after January 2007 to qualified property owners.  The assistance is meant to incentivize the rehabilitation and renovations of downtown properties.  Assistance will be in the form of both direct grants and low interest loans.

Only properties falling within the “target area” map shown below are eligible for funding.  Property owners will have to apply for funding and meet program requirements to receive assistance.

An informational workshop to discuss the program, application process and participation requirements will be held on November 8, 2006 at 6:00 pm in the Firehouse, 16 Saratoga Ave, Corinth.  All property owners and members of the public are welcome to attend.  Application packets and information will be distributed at the meeting and will also be available at Village Hall during normal business hours.
